Scenic trail ending at Blue Ridge Parkway. Top elevation is 4,300 feet. East of Old Fort, take Curtis Creek Road approximately 6 miles to Newberry Creek Road (water wheel is on left). Turn left onto Newberry Creek Road, parking on left side of road, just before trailhead. Trail begins after 4 miles at end of road. Distance is 5 miles, easy to moderate, depending upon season and weather conditions.
