The Lucky Strike Gold and Gem Mine

The Lucky Strike Gold and Gem Mine is a former commercial mine,

operating today as a recreational mine with campsites, primitive sites, full

hook ups, restrooms, showers, and our very own Miner’s Diner.

We have a beautiful one- bedroom log cabin available for nightly rental.

We also have a spacious camper available for nightly rental. Each of these

has a 2-night minimum stay and includes a discount for weekly rentals.

We have a retail gift shop that has many beautiful items that you will want

to take home with you. The Miner’s Diner daily serves “the best burgers in

town” along with lots of other great food!

We have a flume for gold panning and gem screening. The excitement is

real when you see gold in your pan for the first time! Liz McCormick, owner

of The Lucky Strike, has been known to say, “Gold Fever is a real thing and

when you get it, there is no cure”.

The Lucky Strike House Band plays music on Tuesday nights at 7 pm. It is

a time when friends come together and have fun making music. If you

enjoy taking a step back in time and listening to some good ole mountain

music, come join us.

The Lucky Strike Gold and Gem Mine is an excellent place for families to

visit. If you want to relax and enjoy a slower pace of life, The Lucky Strike

is the place for you. Here everyone is family!
