Our trails are bursting with color, including this early Flame Azalea. In our region of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Pisgah National Forest, a variety of rhodendron is in bloom now through the end of June, some at the higher elevations will bloom into early July. Elevations above 3,000 feet provide ideal blooming conditions for native rhododendron. Our website includes area trails and waterfalls. Join us for a day outside!
