Route 70 Cruisers and the Mountain Gateway Mopar Association join forces to create a unique, benefit car show on the grounds of beautiful, historic Carson House. There will be a best of show trophy, drawings for gift baskets and a set of new tires, face painting, bake sale and more! Event admission is free, however, if you would like to show your car, there is a $15.00 registration fee. Event proceeds benefit a local scholarship fund, created to honor former McDowell High School student Eleck Hensley.
Directions: I-40/Exit 73/Old Fort - Driving North on Catawba Avenue to Main Street/Hwy. 70. Turn right onto Main Street/Hwy. 70 driving east approximately 8 miles to stoplight, intersecting NC Hwy. 80. Drive through intersection, passing Tom Johnson's Camping Center on right. Historic Carson House is next right.
