A variety of fresh mushrooms will be for sale from local professional mushroom foragers and cultivators, and local chefs will be showcasing delicious dishes and cooking demos with mushrooms. Culinary mushroom grow kits will be available for folks to take home the FUN!

We are excited about this inaugural event that invites the community to celebrate the Fungi Kingdom, learn about the many uses of mushrooms, and learn about mushroom cultivation and foraging. In addition to highlighting the culinary and medicinal uses of mushrooms, we also aim to showcase outdoor recreation and the beautiful natural environment the region offers for exploring and engaging with fungi in their natural world.

The Marion Tailgate Market operates every Saturday May-Oct from 10am-2pm. Local producers sell meat, produce, eggs, honey, flowers, plants, value-added foods like breads, muffins, pretzels, sweets, and much more.

The Fungi Fest is a part of the Marion Tailgate Market's First Saturday Festival series.
